1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Retensis ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Retensis is an AI-powered video analysis platform for content creators. The Service allows you to upload videos or provide YouTube URLs for AI analysis, which generates feedback on hook effectiveness, pacing, audio quality, visual engagement, and predicted audience retention.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload content that you do not own or have the right to analyze
• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or security measures
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-access the Service
• Upload content that is harmful, abusive, or violates the rights of others

5. Content Ownership

You retain all rights to the videos you upload. By using the Service, you grant Retensis a limited, temporary license to process your video content solely for the purpose of generating your analysis. We do not claim ownership of your content or analysis results.

6. Subscriptions and Billing

The Service offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You can cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

7. Free Trials

New users may be eligible for a 7-day free trial of the Pro plan. Each user is eligible for one free trial only. Attempting to obtain multiple free trials is a violation of these terms.

8. AI-Generated Content

Analysis results, scores, and recommendations are generated by AI and should be treated as suggestions, not guarantees. Retensis does not guarantee that following AI recommendations will result in increased views, engagement, or any specific outcome. The AI analysis is provided "as is" without warranty of accuracy.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Retensis shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

10. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
