1. Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. When you upload a video or paste a YouTube URL, we process the video content to generate an AI analysis. We also collect basic usage data such as the number of analyses you have run.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Retensis service
  • Process video analyses and generate AI feedback
  • Manage your account and subscription
  • Send transactional emails (account verification, password resets)
  • Enforce our terms of service and prevent abuse

3. Video Data

Uploaded videos are processed for analysis and are not stored long-term. After the AI analysis is complete, the original video file is deleted from our storage. We retain only the analysis results (scores, feedback, and timestamps). YouTube videos are accessed via YouTube's public API and are never downloaded to our servers.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Retensis:

  • Supabase — authentication and database
  • Cloudflare R2 — temporary video file storage
  • Google Gemini — AI video analysis
  • Stripe — payment processing

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We do not sell your data to any third party.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS), secure authentication, and row-level security on our database. Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches our servers.

6. Data Retention

Your account data and analysis results are retained for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at privacy@retensis.ai.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Export your analysis data

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated revision date.
